Please meet Oreo, a very sweet Jack Russell Terrier, around 7–8 years old.
Sadly, this lovely lad has come back into our care after six years, through absolutely no fault of his own. Understandably, Oreo is feeling a little sad and bewildered right now — but his gentle nature still shines through. He’s such a loving, loyal boy who just wants to be part of a family again.
Oreo seems fine with other dogs, and he previously lived with another male for a short time. That didn’t quite work out, so we think he’d do best as an only dog, or possibly with a compatible female of similar size.
He’d really love a home where someone is around most of the day, as being left alone for long periods made him a bit anxious and occasionally destructive. With company, love, and a comfy bed, Oreo will soon be back to his cheerful self.
