Bailey

Breed: Crossbreed
Age: 5 Years
Sex: Male

Bailey came into our rescue anxious and very unsure of his surroundings, but with time, patience and understanding we’ve worked to help him gain trust and confidence. He’s made a significant improvement whilst being with us and we now feel that he’s ready to take the next step and find his forever home.

He is a highly intelligent boy who needs to be guided in the right direction. He has Collie like traits and will require an experienced home with no children as he can be reactive on walks and tends to guard toys.

He is food motivated and will take treats gently, so high quality treats can be used as a positive reinforcement during his ongoing training–we think he could possibly be excellent in agility.

He’s a wonderful boy and we truly want to see him happy with someone who will let him settle in his new home, help him to continue to build his confidence and won’t give up at the first hurdle.

He’s highly anxious of getting in the car, and we’re currently working with him to try and overcome this. However, we feel that long term he would prefer to have a home with a nice garden and some nice walks on the doorstep. He really enjoys his walks in the woods and fields, isn’t worried about passing cars and does connect well with his handler.

He truly deserves an understanding, loving and, most importantly, kind home.

Bailey would need an adult only, experienced home and we would like any potential adopter to visit Bailey a few times to create a bond.
